Horticultural/Scientific Field Trials Assistant required for 8-month contract commencing 16th March 2026 at site based near Ipswich. The role involves working as part of a small team assisting with the preparation and running of horticultural trials in the field/in glasshouses and will include potting up, watering, weeding and general horticultural and scientific duties.

Applicants will ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a science related subject, enjoy practical work and being outside and have some horticultural/gardening experience. The ability to follow instructions, have an appreciation of scientific practice and work in an organised manner with attention to detail is also very important.

This is an amazing opportunity to spend the spring/summer in a pleasant working environment in the heart of the Suffolk countryside working for a prestigious global company assisting with the development of innovative new products.

Hours: 8am-4pm, Mon-Thurs & 8am-3.45pm on Friday with possible overtime. Salary: £27500 p/a pro rata.
