Our client, a well-established and growing organisation, is looking to recruit an experienced Production Planner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment managing multiple projects, including bespoke and complex production work.
Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure production activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate production workflows across multiple projects
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers and internal departments
- Prioritise operations to maximise efficiency and minimise delays
- Set tasks and priorities for production teams
- Monitor progress to ensure timely project completion
- Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively
- Prepare and present production status reports
- Identify and manage quality control issues
- Develop detailed production routings, including for bespoke projects
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar production planning role
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control
- Experience using ERP systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft Project
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
