This is a commercial, full-cycle sales role for an ambitious Account Executive who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and taking ownership of opportunities. You’ll manage the sales process from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation, close, and handover to our delivery team.
You’ll work with local authorities, social care leaders, commissioners, and care providers to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Tandem can improve outcomes and create value.
What You Will Do
- Own and deliver against a personal sales target across social care and local authorities.
- Build pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, referrals, partnerships, and events.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from first contact to close.
- Build relationships with decision-makers across local authorities, adult social care, commissioning teams, and care providers.
- Run discovery calls, product demos, and commercial conversations tailored to customer needs.
- Navigate longer, multi-stakeholder sales processes and procurement environments.
- Work closely with Delivery Specialists to ensure a smooth customer handover.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to improve our sales approach and market positioning.
- Represent Tandem at relevant social care, public sector, and industry events.
- Maintain strong CRM, pipeline, and forecasting discipline.
What You Bring
- Demonstrable experience in B2B sales and new business, ideally in SaaS, digital health, public sector, or technology.
- Track record of achieving sales targets and progressing opportunities through a sales funnel.
- Experience with outbound prospecting and managing opportunities through to close.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Interest in and ideally some understanding of the UK social care and local authority landscape.
- Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes.
- Commercially minded, driven, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ownership and desire to learn and develop.
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology and AI.
Bonus Points
- Experience selling SaaS, digital health, AI, or technology into local authorities or social care.
- Existing relationships with local authority, commissioning, or social care stakeholders.
- Experience selling into the public sector or navigating procurement processes.
- Experience working with care providers or organisations delivering adult social care.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
