We are transforming the future of insulin pump therapy and are looking for a motivated Territory Manager to promote and sell Tandem Diabetes Care products and clinical services within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the assigned territory to meet or exceed company sales goals.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans that proactively address clinical, commercial, and competitive dynamics.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand Tandem’s presence across diabetes clinics, hospitals, and community settings.
  • Build and sustain strong, ethical professional relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), patients, and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Differentiating Tandem’s technology and services by clearly communicating clinical, technical, and patient‑centric benefits compared to legacy insulin pump systems.
  • Effectively articulate Tandem’s market position, integrated care approach, and value to prospective accounts and partners.
  • Utilise CRM and other sales tools to manage opportunities, track activity, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Managers to ensure alignment on technical support, training, and complex clinical discussions.
  • Partner with internal teams (Sales, Clinical, Customer Care, and Marketing) to deliver a seamless and consistent customer experience.
  • Provide education and product information to healthcare professionals and patients through in‑clinic training, conferences, health fairs, and promotional events.
  • Attend and actively participate in sales training, internal meetings, trade shows, and industry symposia.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, data privacy requirements, and legal obligations at all times.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
  • Strong understanding of Type 1 diabetes self‑management, including insulin pumps, automated insulin delivery (AID) systems, CGMs, infusion sets, carbohydrate counting, and emergency protocols.
  • Proven ability to work independently while delivering strategic, results‑driven outcomes in a dynamic and evolving market.
  • Confidence presenting to and influencing clinical stakeholders, including senior clinicians and KOLs.
  • Experience using CRM systems and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to supporting patients and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory; a valid UK driving licence is required unless reasonable adjustments can be accommodated.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Additional Desired Experience

  • Experience in medical device sales, diabetes care, endocrinology, or a related healthcare or clinical field.
  • Previous experience engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and supporting complex healthcare professional relationships.
  • Direct professional, clinical, or personal experience with Type 1 diabetes.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals across multiple care settings.
