We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production flow, efficient processes, and continuous improvement across all departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Attend regular production meetings with supervisors and the Engineering Director to review schedules, delays, and lead times.
- Liaise closely with the Sales team regarding order progress, delivery times, and production capacity.
- Participate in disciplinary meetings with HR as required.
- Oversee and manage the manufacturing department, identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes and implement new efficiencies.
- Assess manpower requirements and advise on staffing levels across departments.
- Plan and allocate additional hours or resources as necessary to meet production targets.
- Monitor lead times, deadlines, and output to ensure the manufacturing schedule remains on track.
- Engage directly with staff to understand performance challenges, providing mentoring and guidance to support improvement.
Experience & Skills Required
- Strong background in engineering or manufacturing management.
- Not a hands-on production role; strong understanding of manufacturing concepts, processes, and workflows is essential.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, support, and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and project management skills.
- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong communicator with the ability to liaise across departments in a professional, calm, and methodical manner.
- Proactive, disciplined, and results-driven with a friendly yet firm management style.
