The predicted salary is between 30000 - 30000 £ per year.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 17.00, 36.25 hours per week

Salary: up to £30,000 and up to 20% bonus and benefits

Location: Hybrid work from our Blackpool office (FY4 2FB), minimum 2 days a week in the office

The role supports a smooth transaction onto a new finance system along with maternity cover for 16 months total. The role will have a strong focus on accounts payable, working alongside and supporting our Accounts Payable Team Lead but also involve flexibility around a small accounts receivable portfolio, employee expenses and assisting the management accounting team.

Your Impact: Building a sustainable tomorrow

As an Accounts Payable Administrator at Tandem your focus will be on:

  • Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately & efficiently.
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders.
  • Preparing & processing weekly payment runs to suppliers.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries.
  • Maintaining supplier records and ensuring account details are up to date.
  • Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions.
  • Raise & process a small number of customer invoices.
  • Reconcile customer statements and track payments.
  • Support month end processes & ad hoc duties assisting the management accountant team.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in accounts payable or similar role.
  • Good communication skills and confidence handling email queries and supplier communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Experience processing invoices & payment runs.
  • Well organised and an ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excel skills.

It would be great, but not essential if you have:

  • Experience with Workday.
  • Banking experience.
