Position Overview
Tamworth Borough Council – Estate Cleaner
Salary: £26,403 – £28,598 per annum pro rata.
Hours: 15 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday only.
Employment Type: Permanent.
Location: Castle Ground toilets, Staffordshire.
Responsibilities
The main duties include general cleaning of the toilet block in the castle grounds. You may also be required to help at other sites during peak times to cover absences or annual leave. You will be required to comply with the council’s health and safety procedures. Some cleaning may take place in poor weather conditions.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must be confident working on their own initiative and capable, as part of a team, of delivering the high standards required across the borough. An understanding of COSHH regulations, basic cleaning procedures and safe systems of work would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be given.
