We are Deben Willow Care Ltd based within Woodbridge. We are a privately-owned provider of care services within the community. We are looking for committed Community Care Workers to join our existing team.
As a member of our community care team, you will visit clients in their own homes helping them to remain independent, supporting them and offering services including personal care, medication support, companionship amongst a non-exhaustive list of support tasks that assist individuals to remain independent, safe, happy and content within their own home environment.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a range of skills including knowledge within the sector, empathy, self-awareness, effective communication as well as traits as a positive carer and demonstrating high levels of care and service delivery.
All training is face to face. In order to be considered for this position you must hold a driving licence and your own transport. An enhanced DBS and references will be required upon a position being offered. Good timekeeping is essential. Computer-based knowledge is essential.
We offer a 42 hour per week contract, on a two-week fixed roster. There is the opportunity for additional overtime should you wish to supplement holiday and staff absence. Company pension and on-site parking are provided.
Ability to commute/relocate: Woodbridge IP12: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
Experience: Home care: 1 year (required).
Licence/Certification: Driving Licence – FULL UK – Car or Motorcycle (required).
