We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our vibrant home care team. Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized care according to each client’s care plan, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met with kindness and professionalism.
  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  • Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities and hobbies within their capabilities.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Use IT systems to update care records accurately and promptly after each visit.
  • Drive between client locations safely and efficiently, ensuring punctuality and reliability in your schedule.
  • Follow health & safety guidelines rigorously to create a safe environment for both clients and yourself.

Skills

  • Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for home visits.
  • Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed care plans effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with clients and team members.
  • Good IT skills for updating records, accessing schedules, and communicating via digital platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Clear understanding of health & safety procedures relevant to home care environments.
