We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to provide vital administrative support to the maintenance department on a 3-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stationery orders, producing and updating rotas for the on-site and on-call teams, and maintaining accurate records within maintenance management systems such as V Nexus.
Key duties include:
- Chasing up Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance (RM) jobs
- Reallocating work orders as necessary
- Signing contractors in and out daily
- Providing general administrative assistance to ensure smooth maintenance operations
This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a good understanding of maintenance processes. A DBS check is required for this position. The role is based in Prescot, Merseyside, and requires an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Manage stationery orders and maintain stock levels
- Produce and update rotas for on-site and on-call maintenance teams
- Chase up outstanding Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance (RM) jobs
- Reallocate work orders as required to ensure timely completion
- Update V Nexus system with sign-in/out information and annual leave/absence records
- Provide administrative support to the maintenance department, including logging jobs for contractors and team members
- Assign emails to the admin team and respond to chase-up communications
- Sign contractors in and out daily, ensuring compliance with site procedures
- Maintain accurate records and support smooth communication between teams
Skills:
