Wesley Media has been a leading supplier of software solutions & specialist media delivery systems in the UK for over 25 years.
We are currently recruiting for a ICT Support Technician.
Responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting & diagnosing issues with both software and hardware.
- First point of contact for IT and systems support.
- Talking clients through a series of actions via phone, email or chat, until the issue is solved.
- Providing prompt & accurate feedback to customers.
- Prioritising & managing several open issues at one time.
- Following up with clients to ensure their systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
- Assisting with the preparation of system hardware & software.
- Identifying solutions to software & hardware issues.
- Logging incidents using CRM.
Candidates must be proficient in the use of:
- Windows 10 & Windows 11.
- Microsoft 365 or Office 365.
- Network terminology & configurations.
- Maintaining accurate records.
Knowledge or experience of the following would be an advantage:
- Router configuration.
- Anti-virus software.
- Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience in an SLA support driven environment.
- VOIP/ Phone system management.
- Linux competency (Pi systems, some servers, Synology NAS devices).
- Use of SQL.
The candidate will have the following attributes:
- A passion for IT, ideally with support experience (however we will consider applicants without prior experience).
- Must possess a “can do” attitude.
Working hours are Monday to Friday between 08:00-17:30 on a rotating shift pattern. Additional Out-of-hours and weekend work will sometimes be required.
