Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child.
- Supervise and support children during playtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment that promotes professional growth.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and activities.
- Observe and assess children’s development, keeping accurate records of their progress.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
