KeyResponsibilities:

  • As Class teacher and within the context of the academy policy, identifyeducational aims and objectives for the class and create medium and short termplans.
  • To prepare and teach a weekly timetable of lessons and activitiesappropriately matched to the age and range of abilities of every pupil in theclass.
  • Toensure that the classroom practice supports all school and Trust policies.
  • Todeliver the curriculum in an exciting and stimulating way that aids children’sprogression of both knowledge and skills

Candidatesshould be able to demonstrate:

  • be an excellent classroom practitioner
  • have an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance inrelation to working with, and the protection of, children.
  • the ability to extract, analyse and evaluate issues from data, and toimplement strategies for improvement for all pupil in your class.
  • havea good understanding of teaching and learning
