The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint 2 Teaching Assistants (Level 2 and/or Level 3) for Wild Bank Community School, Demesne Drive, Stalybridge, SK15 2PG. Wild Bank is a one‑form entry school with 31 staff and 146 pupils aged 3 to 11, working towards the motto ‘Working together we can achieve our best’. The Trust’s vision is to support young people to develop aspiration, motivation and success, with all academy roles central to that ambition.

Role Details

  • Start date: 5th January 2026 – 31st August 2026.
  • Salary (full time): £26,403 – £30,518.
  • Salary (fixed‑term, part‑time 30 h week, Term Time Only): £18,827 – £21,763 (Grade D Point 7‑10 / Grade E Point 11‑16).
  • Hours: Mon‑Fri 8:30 – 15:30 with 1 h lunch.

About the Team

We are seeking two part‑time Teaching Assistants, one for EY in the mornings and KS1 in the afternoons and one to work throughout KS2. Candidates should be flexible to cover various classes, provide small‑group support and work closely with class teachers to support learning and development in an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Roles are suitable for candidates with a range of experience and qualifications. Appointments will be made at TA Level 2 or TA Level 3, depending on skills and experience. Applicants must clearly state on their application which level (2 or 3) they are applying for, based on qualifications and experience.
