About the Role

  • As an AMHP in our Emergency Duty Team, you will: Respond to urgent social work and mental health crises outside normal office hours.
  • Conduct Mental Health Act Assessments and manage safeguarding cases with confidence.
  • Provide critical Adults Social Care intervention and support to individuals facing significant harm or distress.
  • Use your assessment, care planning, and case management skills to deliver the best possible outcomes.

About You

  • A qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • An Approved Mental Health Professional ready for the challenges of out-of-hours work.
  • Strong crisis management skills and a passion for helping those in need.
  • Experience in mental health, safeguarding, and emergency intervention.
  • Adult social care experience.
  • A driver with a valid UK license and access to a vehicle for work use.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating shift basis, including evenings, nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
