Position: Assistant Team Manager within our new Learning Disability and Autism Team

Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Team Manager, you will
- Support the Team Manager in organizing, managing, and supervising social care services.
- Contribute to strategic planning and the development of high-quality services.
- Lead the team to ensure effective operations in line with legislation, regulations, and local procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement based on service user feedback, performance data, and stakeholder input.
- Manage team members in accordance with departmental policies and guidelines.
- Develop and oversee the preparation for adults area with in the LD & A team Preparing for adults
- Collaborate with the Team Manager and Admin Manager to oversee administrative staff.
- Implement supervision policies and adhere to HR guidelines, including recruitment, disciplinary procedures, and equal opportunities.
- Address staff welfare and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Facilitate the induction, training, and development of new staff.
- Manage budgets, monitor income and expenditure, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Maintain quality and performance standards through audits and project management techniques.
- Contribute to business planning, data analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and disseminate information to service users, families, and partner agencies.
