Environmental Operations and Greenspace Services are responsible for the delivery of a range of important frontline functions which includes Street Cleansing. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised individual to form part of the Street Cleansing Team.
Post Objectives
- To work as part of a multi-skilled street cleansing team primarily operating a range of mechanical sweepers cleaning highways, pavements and other areas.
- To carry out other environmental cleansing duties, manual litter picking, litter bin emptying etc. as and when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Possession of a full driving licence minimum C1 category
- Recorded history of CPC training (current CPC card)
- Possession of a digital tachograph card
- Experience of driving a compact mechanical sweeper desirable but not essential as training will be given
