The Role

Facilities Management team are responsible for security of around 80 corporate buildings and other lands and premises. Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management and Capital Projects, your role will be to ensure security of the corporate estate is maintained to the highest standards at all times. You will assist with the management of contracted security services, including alarm monitoring, keyholding and physical security. You will work with other Council Officers and Services to advise them on building and personal security needs, conduct risk assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses, and provide professional advice on security matters and best practices.

About You

  • Substantial experience in managing security across a complex, multi‑property estate.
  • Supervisory or line management experience.
