Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Grade H. Scale 29 - £39,862 to Scale 31 - £41,771

Hours Per Week: 36

Base Location: Tameside One, Market Place, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 6BH

The Role

The Systems team requires an enthusiastic individual to support and develop a key IT system across the Authority, primarily the MHR iTrent system used by HR and Payroll Services. You will need to balance day to day maintenance and administration of systems with system improvement and implementation projects. You will have responsibility to manage and successfully deliver those projects. You will need great attention to detail and the ability to problem solve in a systems environment, plus you will play a key part in user acceptance testing for new functionality.

About You

  • Ability to analyse, manipulate and report complex data sets to help inform corporate decision making.
  • Ability to identify and develop improvements, work with services to understand their needs, and translate these into operating systems and processes.
  • Experience working across systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent IT, communication and project management skills.
