Role: Customer facing post requiring a specified level of spoken English. Enhanced DBS Check required.
Responsibilities
- To undertake the role and duties of an Educational Psychologist and deliver a service to a number of Tameside schools and establishments.
- Directly responsible for delivery of a psychological service to a number of schools, settings and for providing psychological advice to the authority as requested.
- Support the Local Authority in fulfilling statutory duties and developing the ‘Expert at Hand’ programme.

- Able to apply psychology creatively to maximise impact and contribute to Tameside Council priority areas.
- Dynamic and hardworking team player capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Generalist psychologist with interests and experience across a range of areas.
- Fully qualified and HCPC registered Educational Psychologist (applicants in training welcome).
- Interested in service development and willing to contribute to a service that continues to evolve over time.
All Posts Require: Subject to an Enhanced DBS Check. Driving licence and own transport.
