Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and develop teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles.
- Take responsibility for quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meets learner needs.
- Assess learners’ progress in college or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm, resilience, high motivation and literacy and numeracy at least Level 2.
- Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in the travel and tourism sector is essential.
- Level 4 teaching qualification: Certificate in Education / PGCE / Bachelor of Education or requirement to achieve a Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment, relevant assessment qualifications (IQA/A1/V1) and evidence of continuous professional development.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
