We are partnering with a global organisation to hire a 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance their group-wide IT infrastructure. This role focuses on BAU support, technical escalations, and assisting with infrastructure and network projects.
Responsibilities
- Own and resolve 2nd line BAU tickets in line with SLAs
- Act as an escalation point for local IT teams
- Provide remote and on-site support to users
- Support infrastructure, network, and security projects
- Assist senior engineers with servers, networks, backups, and MDM
- Maintain accurate ticketing and documentation
Key Skills & Experience
- 2+ years in a 2nd line support / infrastructure role (ideally from an MSP)
- Strong Microsoft stack experience (Windows 10/11, Server, AD, Azure AD, O365)
- Networking fundamentals (VLANs, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi)
- VMware and Veeam experience
- Awareness of cyber security best practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
