Location: Exeter, Devon – Office based with some work from home flexibility

Job Type: Full time, permanent (37.5 hours per week with part time 30 hours per week also considered)

Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role: Are you passionate about digital marketing and event management? We’re seeking a Digital Marketing and Events Executive to join our team. You’ll work closely with the Head of Business Development and the wider team to develop digital marketing campaigns, manage our social media and website, and represent ESPL at industry events. If you're passionate about digital marketing, events, and supporting business growth, we want to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to create and execute marketing campaigns, events, and PR activities to engage both new and existing clients.
  • Managing ESPL’s social media channels, planning campaigns, and engaging with stakeholders to promote services and growth.
  • Updating the website with relevant content and managing the community section for park businesses, working with external agencies.
  • Supporting funding opportunities, including drafting bids and providing data for reports and campaigns.
  • Designing promotional materials using tools like Canva and supporting research initiatives to drive new strategies.
  • Representing ESPL at events, managing projects, and taking on additional tasks to support marketing and business development.

The Person: The ideal candidate will hold (or be studying towards) a level 6 Marketing qualification. You will come with proven experience of working in similar digital marketing roles. You’ll demonstrate confidence in designing social media campaigns, email marketing and newsletters. Experience in development and delivery of events would be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will be self‑motivated with the ability to prioritise a busy workload, act before being directed, and use initiative. You’ll have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong time‑management and organisational skills. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, and a solid understanding of technology more generally, will be vital.
