Part‑Time Bookkeeper to manage our daily financial records.
Key qualifications
Hands‑on experience with Sage accounting software is essential.
This position offers flexible working hours and is ideal for someone seeking a long‑term commitment.
We offer 16 hours across 2 days (or more flexible schedule if necessary).
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of the purchase ledger and sales ledger.
- Processing invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly using
Sage .
- Performing bank reconciliation on a regular basis.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns (knowledge of MTD highly desirable).
- Processing credit card expenses.
- Assisting with month‑end and year‑end procedures.
- Maintaining an organised system of financial records and documents.
Mandatory
Demonstrable proficiency with
Sage 50 Accounts or similar Sage products.
(Candidates without this experience will not be considered).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
