Talstaff Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for AM & PM shifts on behalf of a well-established client based in Thorne, Doncaster. HGV / Class 1 / C+E Drivers urgently required for IMMEDIATE STARTS for ongoing work.

You will be required to:

  • Make on-time deliveries to various nationwide locations, stores, depots and RDC's.
  • Trunking work and store deliveries.
  • Work with curtain siders and palletised stock, with limited use of box trailers & tail lifts.
  • Have knowledge of driver hours/regulations.
  • Hold a valid C+E UK driving licence.
  • Hold a valid UK DCPC and valid UK digicard.
  • Work in a professional manner.
  • Be prepared to undertake site inductions and training.
  • Have excellent geographical knowledge.
  • Be able to follow company procedures and keep various people informed of progress or delays.

In return:

  • £16.81 per hour for AM shifts (Including holiday pay)
  • £19.26 per hour for PM shifts (Including holiday pay)
  • £20.89 per hour for Saturday shifts (Including holiday pay)
