Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3+ years in an HR Business Partner or generalist capacity.
  • Expertise in London employment practices; knowledge of employment law across other EMEA jurisdictions is a plus.
  • Proven experience supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
  • Strong track record of advising leaders, resolving employee relations matters, and leading HR programs end-to-end.
  • Passionate about understanding business goals and building people solutions that drive growth and innovation.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), empathy, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experienced across a broad set of HR disciplines, including learning & development, performance management, policies, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Forward-thinking, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity, bringing creativity to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

What the job involves

  • As a Senior Manager on the People Team, you will act as a trusted partner and advisor to Talos leaders and employees across our EMEA region, ensuring that Talos remains a great place to work while driving organizational effectiveness.
  • You’ll bring deep expertise in London employment practices and broader EMEA employment law, applying this knowledge to guide managers, support employees, and shape thoughtful people programs.
  • In this role, you will own key elements of the employee lifecycle — from onboarding and orientation to performance management, employee relations, and exit processes — always with a focus on building a positive employee experience.
  • You will collaborate with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, proactively addressing challenges, and driving initiatives that foster growth, development, and high performance.
  • Your work will blend operational excellence with creativity, empathy, and forward-thinking, ensuring Talos continues to thrive as a fast-paced, innovative technology company.
  • Serve as an advisor to managers and employees across Europe, providing counsel on performance management, career development, and employee relations.
  • Partner with leaders to implement people programs, processes, and tools that align with business priorities and enable team success.
  • Lead performance management cycles and performance conversations, ensuring fairness, clarity, and developmental outcomes.
  • Support and, at times, lead employee relations matters, including investigations, in partnership with the global People team.
  • Monitor HR reports and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for manager and employee development, leveraging regular 1:1s and check-ins.
  • Ensure compliance with London employment practices and, where applicable, other EMEA labor laws and regulations.
  • Use insights and data to create a consistent and engaging employee experience.
