An exciting opportunity has come up to work at the cutting edge of creative industries working with household brands such as Diageo, Pepsi, SpecSavers, and Tony Chocolonely to name just a few, as Associate Legal Counsel in the UK as part of Talon's growing Global Legal Team supporting the business across a broad range of technology, regulatory and compliance issues. Reporting directly to the Global General Counsel/DPO. Interested to work with cool brands and champion how AI is changing the world of ināhouse legal? We are implementing more and more AI tools focusing on deployment, user friendliness and regulation of our AIāpowered products and services so your work will be assisting the successful implementation of our AI tools across the globe while still rolling up your sleeve and doing the actual drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts.
Work closely with the wider legal and regulatory team across the globe in providing advice and counsel on cuttingāedge industry initiatives. Advise and keep up to date with legal and regulatory developments in the UK. Work together with the General Counsel/DPO as champion of corporate governance. Provide comprehensive and timely legal advice and training to internal stakeholders. Champion sustainability and advocate the value of positive social and environmental impact within your team including participation in projects and initiatives which drive Talon's commitment to positive social and environmental causes. E.g., charity partnerships, volunteering, carbon offsetting etc. Be a role model for the Talon values and behaviours to help ensure the best possible culture and tone is set throughout Talon.
What we're looking for:

As well as:
- NQ to 5+ years PQE UK qualified solicitor.
- At least one yearās experience ināhouse/private practice is preferred and experience in data driven industries, consumer goods, technology and/or advertising is desirable.
- Experience of drafting and advising on commercial contracts in a practical and commercial manner with strong research and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and marketing law, and/or intellectual property law desirable.
We are an inclusive team based in our central London office (min 3+ days/week).
