THE ROLE
The Head of Client will hold overall responsibility for ensuring a high standard of service across a portfolio of UK agencies and clients. Working with cross‑functional teams, they will help establish a consistent and client‑centric approach, and will lead on key initiatives where appropriate. The role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and supporting the adoption of Talon’s solutions and platforms as part of broader strategic partnerships. The Head of Client will collaborate closely with Business Directors to develop tailored engagement plans aligned to our client and agency strategy, and will coach the wider team to deliver best‑in‑class service and outcomes. This position has a strong relationship focus, ensuring our agencies and clients continue to value Talon’s contribution and that trusted partnerships can enable future growth and new opportunities.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Own a defined portfolio of agencies and clients and act as senior point of contact for key relationships.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and represent Talon with credibility and professionalism.
- Champion a client‑centric, collaborative approach across all teams.
- Lead, support and develop Business Directors and wider teams to deliver high standards of service and performance.
- Advocate for Talon’s full range of capabilities and support portfolio growth and diversified revenue opportunities.
- Overall responsibility for the commercial health of the portfolio, including forecasting, planning and reporting in partnership with the Chief Client Officer.
- Ensure effective issue resolution and accountability for service delivery across teams.
- Oversee the delivery of competitive insights, market updates and post‑campaign analysis.
- Identify new opportunities and contribute to strategic business initiatives and projects.
- Negotiate confidently at senior levels when required.
- Role model Talon’s values and behaviours, helping shape a positive culture and standard of excellence.
