Grand Visual is seeking a talented freelance Technician to join our London team on an ad-hoc project basis, supporting the delivery of interactive Digital Out of Home (DOOH) projects. This role sits within our Creative Technology department, to ensure the successful delivery of interactive experiences. The role sits outside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute robust test plans to ensure stability and security
- Participate in on-site project installs, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Provide live support and remote troubleshooting for hardware and software
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams throughout the production process
- Assist in setting up and securing computers ready for install in the field
- Support organization and management of hardware storeroom
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of interactive technologies and techniques
- Comfortable working across Mac, Windows, and Linux environments
Qualifications
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities, both on-site and remote for hardware and software
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
