THE ROLE
This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover the maternity leave of the person currently in this role. The role of Media Payables Specialist is to process invoices and reconcile supplier statements in an accurate and timely manner. As the Media Payables Specialist, you will be helping the company keep on top of all outgoing cash; ensuring our suppliers are paid on time and accurately which is essential to running a successful business. The successful candidate must be a team player, ideally with a strong AP/Media background.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Preparing the reconciliations of media owner payables.
- Preparing subsequent media pay runs, always ensuring reconciliation and cash management.
- Ensuring supplier payment schedules are followed.
- Investigating and resolving errors with account handlers and media buyers.
- Carrying out the monthly review and reporting of payables queries.
- Setting up new suppliers and ensuring that all required documentation is completed.
- Reporting on creditor balances each month and providing full commentary.
- Managing the upkeep of contact records in NetSuite for VAT, bank details and company details for review with the AP/AR Manager.
- Preparing billing reports and ensuring that all lines are coded correctly.
- Processing monthly employee expenses.
- Preparing the weekly bridging payment requests.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Great team player who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines whilst managing the expectations of key stakeholders.
- Strong Excel Skills.
- Media experience, or experience in a high-volume transactional business with regular AP reconciliation is key.
