THE ROLE

Evolve’s Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and producing Evolve’s Marketing and Communications output. Key elements of this role include raising the brand’s profile by developing and executing a marketing plan to capture the attention of our target market, generating new business leads and showcasing the benefits of OOH. This role will also be responsible for liaising with the Evolve team to promote our best-in-class work through case studies, award entries and more.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Work with the Head of Marketing and Evolve SLT to develop a marketing strategy and plan to meet Evolve’s business goals.
  • Lead the development and execution for new business development and account growth globally, with particular emphasis on EMEA.
  • Build and deliver bespoke marketing initiatives for specific accounts, services and campaigns for specific markets, sectors and clients.
  • Continually review changes to the market and business performance, adjusting the above plans as necessary.

Brand

  • Lead the development of Evolve’s global brand positioning and assist market HUB leads with any nuanced positioning relevant to their regions.
  • Work with the Evolve team to define and enhance service offerings.
  • Be a brand guardian for the Evolve brand, and work with the Group Lead Designer to continue to develop and embed the Evolve brand and associated assets.

Execution

  • Responsible for creation of marketing collateral including Promos, Case Studies, Presentations, Social Media, Newsletter, Website, Videos, Events, PR & Advertising, Outreach – working alongside and in collaboration with the Group Marketing team, including Design.
  • Create and manage a marketing calendar of events, conferences and thought leadership contributions.
  • Work closely with the Evolve team to define marketing collateral and support on ad hoc requests.
  • Provide strategic market insight, keeping abreast of consumer trends and the activities of competitors.
  • Work alongside the Group Marketing Team to secure and grow media coverage of Evolve.
  • Maximise the effectiveness of marketing spend in line with the marketing budget.
  • Collate and analyse current communications and messages to ensure consistency.
  • Support joint marketing opportunities with client and partner agencies - including PR, awards, events, research & marketing collateral.
  • Attend industry events as necessary to keep up to date with marketing and industry trends and produce best‑in‑class marketing.
  • Foster relationships with media outlets to build Evolve’s profile and establish Evolve as the ‘go to’ for OOH thought leadership.

Team

  • Be a key part of the wider group marketing team and support on group initiatives where necessary.
  • Help raise the profile of Evolve team members, for example mentoring HOC/BDs on the creation of compelling thought pieces.

Role model the Evolve values and behaviours to help ensure the best possible culture and tone is set throughout the company.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Naturally creative with a keen eye for design.
  • An individual that understands the OOH specialist landscape and media agency.
  • A self‑starter who can deliver results through strategy and execution.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication and decision‑making skills.
  • A project manager with a high attention to detail.
  • Social media and communications experience, proven ability to generate attention for a brand online, particularly using LinkedIn.
  • A team player that works well with people of all backgrounds, skill levels and abilities to deliver a plan.

Experience and qualifications

  • Evidence of strategic thinking, marketing strategy and successful completed projects.
  • Global / international network market experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience driving new business/ client retention through marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in similar position in the media marketplace (media agency, brand, production team).
  • Internal stakeholder management experience up to Senior Leadership Team level.
  • Knowledge of online marketing.
  • Classical marketing experience with skills across the full marketing mix.
