THE ROLE
The Business Director is responsible for leading a team of direct reports to deliver best in class OOH planning for our clients and agencies. They will foster strong relationships with senior agency and client contacts to deliver billings growth targets, innovative work, and commercial objectives. The Business Director will lead, motivate, and nurture a high performing team and the successful candidate must have proven leadership and team management credentials, excellent OOH knowledge and evidence of innovative thinking that has yielded business value for clients.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
The Business Director leads the agency planning team to deliver high‑quality OOH work, ensuring clients receive strategic, innovative, and commercially effective solutions. Each day involves guiding Client Directors and planners, reviewing output, overseeing major negotiations, and driving growth through proactive proposals and cross‑team collaboration. The role maintains senior‑level relationships across clients, agencies, and media owners, manages commercial performance including billings and audits, and supports pitches and business development. The Business Director also plays a key part in developing talent, shaping team culture, and contributing to Talon’s ongoing success.
