As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller, as well as supporting group reporting requirements. Your role will be to help the finance team and business in the month end reporting. Your ability to manage these processes efficiently and accurately will be crucial to the development and strategic direction of Evolve.

A DAY IN THE LIFE_
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly management results
- Preparation of monthly margin analysis in readiness for month end for the international hub
- Preparation of monthly margin analysis in readiness for month end for APAC
- Monthly revenue recognition preparation for review
- Review of overhead costs and prepare accrual and prepayment journals
- Review of expenses for month end for posting accuracy
- Preparation of month end journals
- Preparation of the consolidated month end review file
- Present results to the FC and FD with commentary on key variances to forecast
- Reconciliation of inter and intra company balances
- Complete the balance sheet reconciliation pack for FC review
- Assist the Media payables and Media receivables
- Banking payment run review and first authorisation
- Audit support
- Sustainability reporting
- Collation of the quarterly VAT returns for review and submission to HMRC.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR_
- Highly organised, with an eye for accuracy and detail
- Knowledge of Business Maths and a solid understanding of Budgetary Principles
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to communicate effectively in all formats
- Able to build new, strong relationships across Evolve’s teams
- Qualified or part-qualified accounting professional (sponsorship opportunities available)
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Xero and NetSuite experience preferred
- Calm and assertive in times of conflict or high pressure
- Interest in media/advertising essential (OOH), and previous experience beneficial
