About the Role

Talon. One is looking for a Head/Director of Brand & Advocacy to lead our newly consolidated Brand, Content, Design, and Customer Marketing functions. This is a high-impact “player‑coach” role designed for a leader who excels at the intersection of creative storytelling and operational scale. You will be the architect of our Distribution Engine, transforming customer success stories and complex product use cases into a scalable content machine that fuels our global pipeline. You will also pioneer our Customer Advocacy program, turning our most successful clients into our most influential market voices.

About the Team

This is a player‑coach role that requires both strategic vision and operational excellence. You’ll manage a team of 6–8 (including freelancers) and partner closely with PR, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and the Global Events team. This is a full‑time role based in London, UK.

Once You Are Here You Will

  • Own the strategic roadmap for all distribution‑led content.
  • Build and innovate the Talon. One system for GEO/SEO‑optimised assets, gated practitioner guides, and multi‑channel distribution that drives measurable growth and net new customer acquisition.
  • Future‑proof our content.
  • Continue to accelerate our AI content strategy and work alongside the content manager to ensure LLMs, AI‑powered search (GEO), and Talon One’s content distribution most advance and help Talon. One’s citable authority in the space.
  • Build a world‑class advocacy program from its early stages.
  • Identify and activate “Customer Champions” for case studies, speaking engagements, and community‑led growth.
  • Lead the Design and Copy teams to ensure a distinctive, premium brand identity across every touchpoint.
  • Own creating the system and execution of a reliable brand voice that is trustworthy and represents Talon. One’s brand values.
  • Explore video, podcasts, and interactive formats to ensure our content lives where our audience engages most.
  • Serve as the bridge between Product Marketing and Demand Gen, ensuring our best product and customer stories are integrated into growth channels.

What We Need You to Bring to the Table

  • 7–10+ years of B2B Marketing experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing multidisciplinary creative and technical teams.
  • Experience building content engines that move beyond “output” to “outcome.” You understand how content fuels the pipeline.
  • Deep understanding of SEO/GEO, content attribution, and how the “modern tech stack” (AI, CMS, CRM) supports brand distribution.
  • Direct experience scaling customer reference or advocacy programs in an Enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with community‑building strategies (digital communities, digital advocacy, lifecycle customer communication) is required.
  • Strong creative instincts: you care about design, storytelling, and how content shows up across different formats and platforms.
  • Experience in Commerce Tech, Fintech, or complex Enterprise SaaS is a major plus.

What’s In It For You

  • €1,000 annual learning budget, full LinkedIn Learning access, and free German language courses to boost your skills.
  • 30 days of annual leave, plus extra paid days for your birthday and moving day.
  • Home office setup budget, a monthly home office allowance.
  • Freedom to work from abroad for up to 90 days worldwide!
  • Mental health support with nilo.health and a discounted Urban Sports Club membership.
  • 20% company subsidy on your pension contributions.
  • Subsidised BVG public transport ticket and a dog‑friendly Berlin office where your furry friend is welcome.
  • Lease your ideal bike through BusinessBike.
