The Senior Manager for our People Team promotes the execution of the overall People strategy, while directing the day-to-day HR operations across Talogy. The primary areas of focus include talent management, employee relations, change management, organizational and performance management, and compensation and benefits. This role also works integrally with partners for L&D, HRIS and payroll. The individual in this role must have a clear understanding of the business and be able to devise and implement policies which enable us to select, develop and retain the right staff to meet/exceed business objectives.
This role is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours to support people in all time zones globally. This role can be performed remotely.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the global Business Partner (2 FTE) and Talent Acquisition (2 FTE) functions across Talogy.
- Partner with the Talogy leadership team and managers on problem solving, dispute resolution, grievances, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance.
- Partner with external counsel on employee relations issues and restructures from time to time.
- Manage, coach, train and develop the team members in their charge, i.e. the People Operations business partners and recruiters.
- Participate in the planning, design, and development of programs to meet on-boarding, training, and staff development needs.
- Responsible for senior leadership reporting on various People Operations metrics.
- Manage and assess organizational development and training needs of operating business and functional units in conjunction with the L&D Director.
- Ensure timely performance evaluation of staff and recommends promotions, salaries, and bonuses.
Previous experience as a senior specialist and leader in fast-paced People Operations environments is essential. Exceptional relationship building skills at all levels of the organization assuring the People Team is seen as trusted employee and business advisors. Experience in HR budgeting and vendor management. Strong knowledge of HR standards, employment laws and industry standards. Proficiency with MS Office. Proficiency in another foreign language, particularly but not limited to French is desirable.
