We’re looking for a Financial Controller to help us build Tallow + Ash into one of the most exciting modern brands in the UK and change the laundry aisle for good. You’ll work closely with the Financial Director and wider team to help keep our numbers accurate, our reporting clear, and our finance operations running smoothly day to day. This is a fast paced, collaborative role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who loves bringing order, clarity and confidence to a growing business. As we grow, you’ll play a big role in strengthening the financial foundations of the company while helping support the next stage of growth in a healthy, sustainable way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping keep the numbers accurate and organised
  • Oversee day to day financial operations and make sure everything is recorded accurately
  • Support month end processes and help deliver clear, reliable financial reporting
  • Help keep the finance function well organised and running smoothly
  • Building strong financial foundations
    • Improve financial processes, controls and reporting across the business
    • Help make sure we have the right structure in place as we grow
    • Support accuracy, consistency and good financial discipline across all areas
    • Provide clear financial information to help the wider business make better decisions
    • Work closely with the Financial Director and wider team to improve visibility on performance
    • Help identify risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Helping the finance function grow with the business
    • Support the development of a finance function that can grow with the company
    • Work across teams to improve ways of working and strengthen financial understanding
