We’re looking for a Stock Buying Manager to help us build Tallow + Ash into one of the most exciting modern brands in the UK and change the laundry aisle for good. You’ll work closely with the founders and wider team to help make sure we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time as we continue to grow. This is a fast paced, collaborative role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who loves staying organised, thinking ahead and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. As we grow, you’ll play a big role in helping us make smarter buying decisions, keep stock flowing well and build stronger foundations for the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping make sure stock is in the right place at the right time: Help make sure we have the right levels of stock in place across the business, monitor inventory closely to avoid stock outs while also keeping stock levels healthy, support planning to ensure products are available when and where they need to be.
  • Managing stock buying and purchasing: Manage the day to day buying process across products and materials, work closely with suppliers and internal teams to help keep purchasing smooth and well organised, support timely and accurate ordering based on business needs and demand.
  • Improving stock planning and forecasting: Use sales data, trends and business context to support better stock decisions, help improve forecasting and stock planning processes as the business grows, spot risks early and help the team respond to potential supply or availability issues.
  • Working closely with the wider team: Collaborate with teams across operations, finance, logistics and commercial, help make sure stock decisions support wider business priorities and trading plans, provide clear updates and insight to help the team make better decisions around stock and purchasing.
