Experience working on homeowner and garden machinery

Basic IT competency

Taless Amos Group are one of the premier machinery dealerships in the UK with roots that can be traced back over 100 years. We have proudly represented John Deere since 1967 and promote some of the market leaders in the turf and ground care industry such as Grillo, Husqvarna and Stihl and take pride in the quality of machinery we sell and service.

We are looking to invest in our Leominster depot Turf and Groundcare department to better serve our loyal customer base. The first step of this journey is to appoint a workshop supervisor to lead the development of the department.

The role will involve liaising with the customer for installation, maintenance and diagnostics of John Deere and other franchised machinery. Typically, this depot is working on UTVs, ATVs, ride on lawn mowers and some golf machinery so applicants should have some experience of working on these types of smaller machines in combination with small petrol and diesel engine fault finding ability.

Part of this role includes the chance to build a team around the successful candidate so desirable applicants could have experience of day to day managing a team. The role will also require dealing with customers on the phone and face to face, helping them keep machinery working in A1 condition by recommending aftermarket service and parts.

The work is expected to be around 70% on the tools with the remaining 30% running the department. The role will suit someone who likes to work with a high degree of autonomy, someone with experience working in a similar industry and someone who is looking for the opportunity to step up into a position of responsibility.

In return for this TAG offer you an excellent pay and comprehensive benefits package with overtime and incentive structure, pension scheme, generous holiday allowance of 23 days plus bank holidays with enhancement as well as Vitality Health Insurance.

In addition to this TAG are committed to the ongoing professional development of all staff and offer each team member the chance to hone their skill set through class leading CPD and in house training.

To discuss the role informally or find out any further information please get in touch with recruitment coordinator Guy Bunting on 07507671283 or apply today.
