The role is key in the business with preparation of John Deere machinery ready for sale and return to customers and is key in the image we project as a premium brand within the agricultural and turf machinery sector.
The work involves detailing John Deere and other franchised equipment to the very highest level so a keen eye for detail is essential to deliver the highest standards to our discerning customers. This will involve the use of cleaning, protective and restorative agents both internally and externally as well as checking for defects, damage, wear and tear.
Applicants should have previous experience in a similar role as they will be required to polish machinery and ensure upholstery is immaculate. The workspace needs to be kept clean as well as stocked so the successful applicant will be required to keep on top of inventory as well as ensuring the working area is tidy, clean and H&S compliant.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to other depots within our geographical remit and so all applicants should have a full UK driving licence and some experience of driving agricultural and turf machinery. Due to the nature of the role, some degree of flexibility in schedule and ability to manage your own time is essential to deal with issues as they arise.
