Location: Kemble, Gloucestershire, SN16 9SN

Working Hours: 0800 to 1700 Monday to Friday with rota for weekends

Salary: Up to £40k, bonus and comprehensive benefits package

Overtime: 1.5x for 40h+, 2x for Sundays and Bank Holidays

Following an internal promotion, Tallis Amos Group (TAG) are currently hiring for an experienced service engineer to join the turf and ground care section of the business based at Kemble near Cirencester. The work will involve PDI, service and repair of John Deere and other dealer affiliated ground care equipment with an emphasis on the homeowner and commercial machinery we offer.

The role will involve working on customer sites around the local area and will include a vehicle as well as laptop, phone and specialist tools to complete the job.

Applicants for this role will have a strong comprehension of common mechanical systems with a natural aptitude for diagnosing faults and putting into place robust repair solutions. Candidates should be comfortable with tasks such as cylinder grinding, transmission rebuilds and electrical repairs. Candidates should possess strong motivation to deliver results for customers and take pride in their work. This role will have customer facing aspects so applicants should be happy dealing with customers and be able to display great communication and customer service skills.

Due to the nature of some business we service, applicants must be able to hold an enhanced DBS check.

We are looking to meet anyone who has experience working on John Deere equipment and systems. We are also interested in speaking to applicants who have experience working on competitively branded turf and commercial machinery that shares the same market space as our own. We are particularly interested in speaking to applicants who have experience maintaining and servicing golf course equipment.
