Basic IT competency
Due to ongoing growth within the business, Tallis Amos Group (TAG) are currently recruiting for experienced Service Technicians for our state-of-the-art Wiltshire Depot.
With roots that can be traced back over 100 years and as one of the longest standing John Deere dealerships in the United Kingdom, TAG are looking to capitalise on the success of 2024 and increase headcount to provide industry leading service to the farming community within our area. Our aim is to become the machinery dealership of choice throughout the West Midlands, South West of England and South West Wales but we can only do this by growing our engineering teams.
Based in the Kemble depot, you will be working with a diverse portfolio of customers spanning small scale pastoral right up to large arable operations and everything in between. This will mean no two days are the same; you might be attending a breakdown on farm in the morning and preparing a new machine for sale back at the depot during the afternoon. The work is customer facing and so we are looking to work with strong communicators who are passionate about rural affairs. We are especially interested in hearing from any engineer with experience of working with diesel engines, transmissions, combines, foragers or sprayers.
In partnership with John Deere, we offer world class training to orientate you to our product range at their state-of-the-art facilities in Langar, Nottinghamshire. TAG offer a structured trajectory to help you develop your abilities and further your career in line with new product releases and advances in technology.
In return for this TAG offer you an excellent pay and comprehensive benefits package with overtime and incentive structure, pension scheme, holiday allowance of 23 days plus bank holidays as well as Vitality Health Insurance scheme. In addition to this TAG are committed to the ongoing professional development of all staff and offer each team member the chance to hone their skill set through class leading CPD and in house training.
