Following growth in the business, Tallis Amos Group in Narberth are looking to appoint a new agricultural service technician to be based in the field working in partnership with the farming community of Pembrokeshire. The role will involve working on some of the latest and greatest John Deere and franchised machinery at the bleeding edge of agricultural technology to help keep Welsh farmers moving and helping to assure Welsh food security.
The role will involve work on both customer sites and in the local depot performing breakdown repairs as well as routine service. Applicants should be familiar with fault finding and diagnostics on large and complex machinery such as slurry equipment, foragers, cultivators or drills in addition to tractor repair and service. Eye for detail as well as adaptability and the ability to improvise are needed to complete the job to a high standard. Excellent communication skills are required as a prerequisite due to the role often being customer facing under challenging circumstances.
