Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the credit control operations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, handling queries and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
- Proactively chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and written correspondence.
- Process and allocate cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts on a daily basis, including taking card payments.
- Set up new customer accounts, carry out credit checks and follow up on trade references.
- Set and review customer credit limits.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar credit controller position.
- Customer-focused approach with professional communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience of accounting software.
- Competence within Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite.
- Strong IT literacy and well-developed communication skills.
- Industry-recognised qualifications are highly desirable.

Tallis Amos Group is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team in either our Evesham or Leominster office to manage the credit control function across our five depots. We represent one of the largest agricultural and turf machinery manufacturers in the world, with a heritage dating back over 100 years and fourth-generation customers. The role is pivotal within the wider finance team, ensuring customer success across the group with a diverse portfolio of customers, including local councils, agricultural contractors, and others.
Location and Working Hours
Evesham (WR11 2QT) or Leominster (HR6 0QB). Site-based role. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Salary and Benefits
28,000 to 30,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package. This includes a holiday allowance of 23 days plus bank holidays, holiday enhancement, and Vitality Health Insurance.
