We are recruiting an experienced Ocean Export Operator to join an established freight forwarding business in Romford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ocean export shipments from initial booking through to final destination, ensuring customers receive a professional and reliable service throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing ocean export shipments from start to finish
  • Handling both FCL and LCL export bookings
  • Liaising with customers, shipping lines, hauliers and overseas agents
  • Obtaining rates and producing customer quotations
  • Making bookings and coordinating collections
  • Preparing and checking bills of lading and export documentation
  • Monitoring vessel schedules, cut-off dates and shipment milestones
  • Coordinating customs clearance instructions
  • Tracking shipments and providing regular customer updates
  • Resolving delays and operational issues
