We are recruiting for an experienced Technical Product & Platform Manager to join a growing business within the logistics sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can work between technology, product development and operational teams, taking ownership of a business-critical digital platform and its future development.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the full software development lifecycle
- Lead UK-based and offshore development teams
- Own the product roadmap, backlog and delivery priorities
- Define requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage platform integrations, performance and technical debt
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Operations and Finance
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards
- Improve data quality, reporting and governance
- Support customer implementations, integrations and platform adoption
- Explore AI, automation and emerging technologies
- Oversee release management, security and incident escalation
- Lead, mentor and develop members of the technical team
What we’re looking for:
- Experience managing software development projects or technical product delivery
- Strong understanding of platform architecture, system integrations and solution design
- Experience coordinating software development teams, including offshore resources
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira
- Experience managing product roadmaps and delivery backlogs
- Understanding of Power BI, reporting and data-quality principles
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills
- A proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach
