Tallgrass Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers on behalf of a well-established and highly respected transport company based in Woodville. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking consistent, long-term tramping work with competitive rates of pay and the opportunity to work with a professional transport operation. The role involves nationwide deliveries and collections using flatbed trailers, with drivers staying out Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nationwide deliveries and collections
  • Flatbed trailer work
  • Securing loads safely using ratchet straps and in accordance with industry regulations
  • Staying out in the vehicle Monday to Friday
  • Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately
  • Adhering to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation
  • Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues

Pay & Benefits

  • £20.00 per hour – Monday to Friday
  • Up to £24.00 per hour – Weekend work (if required)
  • £26.20 Night Out Allowance per night
