Job Purpose: Garage Services Drivers carry out the collection of filter bins, battery banks, anti-freeze, contaminated fuel, rag bins, etc. from businesses and automotive sources, whilst promoting positive workplace values. The role is based out of a transfer station in Trafford Park.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Driving an 18 tonne box van
- Manual transportation of garage waste
- Loading and offloading of vehicle, including multi-drops and collections
- Completion of all relevant paperwork, e.g. EA notes and delivery notes
- Daily defect reporting
- Maintaining vehicles
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
