The Role
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for a well-established and highly respected transport company. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent tramping work, staying out Monday to Friday, with reliable hours and ongoing work. The role involves general haulage, covering nationwide deliveries and collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out nationwide deliveries and collections
- Flatbed work
- Stay out in the vehicle Monday to Friday (tramping)
- Ensure loads are secured safely and in line with regulations via Ratchet straps
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
- Adhere to driver hours, WTD, and road safety legislation
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Pay & Benefits
- £20.00ph Monday to Friday rate
- Up to £24.00 per hour (Weekends, if required)
- Night Out Allowance at £26.20 per day (additional payment per night out)
- £10.00 per day meal allowance
- Consistent weekly hours
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous tramping experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Reliable, flexible, and professional
