ADMINISTRATION CO-ORDINATOR Cheshire CW9 Salary up to £35,000 DOE Company My client is an independent freight forwarder, well known and respected for its international shipping who pride themselves on offering a professional service that is both personal and tailored to the individual needs of their clients. Their continued success means that they are now looking for an Administration Co-ordinator to join their small but growing dedicated team of 6 reporting into the Export manager, specialising in the export of animal by-products. The team operates as a ‘back office’ for their clients, preparing all client documentation in addition to handling all processes involved in clearing shipments for export. Requirements: * A flexible team player with excellent customer service skills, you will ideally have experience working for a freight forwarder, or in an export documentation role. * Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative. * Ability to adapt to meet changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Strong and confident communication skills. * Experience in customs clearance procedures an advantage. * Experience in the preparation of complex credit documentation, or a professional working knowledge of the principles involved. * A working knowledge of letter of credit rules and regulations a distinct advantage. * Competent computer / IT skills, including word and excel. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: * Process bookings from clients received by both telephone and email. * Arrange transport with the hauliers / shipping lines. * Load all shipment details on to the system (Cargo wise). * Process and submit customs declarations. * Check and submit VGMs. * Accurately raise all documentation required for each shipment including, but not limited to, health certificates, certificates of origin and bills of lading. * Ensure all documentation is raised in accordance with the client’s contract or letter of credit and is raised, processed and submitted within the agreed time frames. * Support and advise clients on all aspects of documentation to ensure their interests are always protected.
