Job Description Summary

Markets the organisation's products, brands and/or services. Designs, develops and implements communication programs to advertise the organisation's products/brands/services using media (e.g., print, broadcast, digital), events, and sales promotions. Develops and evaluates pricing strategies and structures. Designs and maintains websites to promote and sell the organisation's products through the Internet.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Product Manager to join our digital product team. This unique hybrid role blends the strategic oversight of product management with hands-on content creation and publishing. As part of the team, you will manage our Content Management System (CMS) to ensure the seamless delivery of engaging content across both our website and app, enhancing the user experience and driving customer engagement. Your focus will be on optimizing content for both sales and service journeys, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with product, trading, and design teams to develop and execute a comprehensive content roadmap while managing key content operations such as testing, publishing, and archiving. Your ability to drive impactful content changes in line with business goals and consumer insights will be critical to the success of this role. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with 8+ years of experience in a digital B2C organization who is passionate about both product and content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Creation: Leverage business insights, industry best practices, and consumer feedback to create, upload, and manage content across both sales and service journeys on our website and app (including text, images, pages, and redirect links). Collaborate with the trading, product, and design teams to develop and maintain a content roadmap, taking accountability for ensuring that content changes are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Test & Learn: Develop and implement a robust test & learn plan to optimize web and app content for customer engagement and conversion. Analyze content performance and continually improve through experimentation and data-driven insights.
  • CMS Ownership & Vision: Own the vision, strategy, and execution for the CMS tool (Contentful), ensuring it meets the needs of the business and delivers a smooth user experience across platforms. Work closely with trading, product, and design teams to execute on the CMS vision, driving ongoing improvements and optimizing the system’s capabilities.
  • Content Management & Governance: Establish and enforce robust publishing and archiving processes to ensure high-quality content management, minimizing risks associated with incorrect or poorly managed copy. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain a consistent, brand-aligned voice across all content.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in a digital B2C environment, with a strong understanding of both product management and content creation.
  • CMS Expertise: Extensive experience with content management tools, preferably Contentful, and a clear understanding of CMS systems and workflows.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with product, trading, design, and engineering teams to deliver on content strategies and product goals.
  • Analytical Mindset: Experience in developing and executing test & learn strategies to optimize content for customer engagement and conversion.
  • Process & Governance: Ability to implement and maintain structured processes around content publishing and archiving, ensuring quality control and minimizing errors.
  • Customer-Centric: A deep understanding of consumer behaviour and how to create content that engages, informs, and converts across digital touchpoints.
